Osmund Saddler's final battle is a gritty, desperate stand in a rain-soaked coliseum, his broken shield the only barrier between him and a monstrous beast. He's out of tricks, his sword arm heavy, but he refuses to yield. The clash is less about victory and more about leaving a scar on the world before the end.
